Each Sentinel DVR is field-ready and includes a STI DVR in a Pelican case. STI offers four different camera for use with Sentinel DVRs and a variety of cables in two lengths(100 feet or 200 feet). Sentinel MAGNUM 4 STI's Sentinel MAGNUM 4 delivers 21st Century digital video recording technology in a complete package. A 30 frame/second maximum recording rate is easily shared with up to 4 (four) cameras. This system provides superb miniaturization, continuous recording intervals to 960 hours, modest transport weight and very low power consumption. Video data is stored on removable hard disk drives for superb multi-camera long duration digital recording. Sentinel MAGNUM 4 - Starter Systems STI offers a Sentinel MAGNUM 4 "starter system" that consists of a complete Lab and Field equipment suite. The operator can select up to four cameras per DVR from one of four STI camera selections. Batteries and cables are not included. Field Equipment Kit The Sentinel MAGNUM 4 Field Equipment Kit contains: One (1) digital video recorder Two (2) removable hard disks for swapping One (1) Dual Rate Battery Charger One (1) Pelican case Illustrated operating manual Lab Equipment Kit The Sentinel Lab Kit provided in the "starter system" includes: One (1) playback unit, One (1) 120 volt AC power supply, One (1) USB Video Capture Kit, One (1) "programmer-reviewer" that contains the LCD playback monitor, DVR setup and computer interface. Given proper camera and recorder setup, the enhanced reviewing PC software will be able to identify areas of possible interest, allowing the researcher to fast-forward through uneventful periods. STI's optional sunset/sunrise or day/night packages further enhance the system's ability to record only the peak event times, further reducing the time needed to required review images. This controller program begins recording at sunrise, records for two hours then shuts down the entire system.
